They have an original and truly real acoustic energy in their songs that convey such passion and important messages. Their lyrics speak freely of the world and issues around them and to top it all off, their artwork is beautiful.
The title track 'Shine on me' is a really stripped back, laid back tune that features just vocals, acoustic guitar and violin and is a perfect listen when sandwiched between the two more full tracks that were sent to us.
I have nothing but good things to say about this band and the people that have formed it too. Zep Santos offers beautifully delicate vocals and even though I have only spoken with them via Twitter and email, they all come across as lovely, genuine people with no egos to speak of.
The album has the perfect blend of upbeat, lively, fun and inspiring energy mixed with the slower, sincere and passionate songs to not only give the record great dynamics, but to cover every topic and sound.
So... in the words of The Indigos, 'take the lead' and watch out for their new release. I might even get it myself!
