Amy Naylor

Hi!
I'm Amy Naylor.

I am a current student of Professional Writing as well as a freelance musician. These two interests have come together to create this, SunStock Music.

I was 18 when I started this project. I'm 20 now and I already have experience in ghostwriting for authors, reviewing self-published ebooks, maintaining a monthly column with my local youth magazine VOXX, writing for the local newspaper, and reviewing for other magazines and websites.

Moving onto my musical interests, I released my debut album 'A Brave Thing' in May 2014 and followed that up with an EP 'Stay' in September of the same year. Since then I have released another EP 'Song of the Sea Maid' based on the book of the same name, which was a collaborative project with its author Rebecca Mascull.

I am also in a band - HEADSTANDER - and a duo - Mandala - and have another side project - Mellea - all of which produce very different sounding music. I think you probably get the idea that this is pretty much my life.

I started the SunStock project after finishing my second year at college and deciding that I needed to do something productive with my time off while I waited for my degree course to begin. It has already taken steps much further than I was expecting.

For almost two years I hosted a weekly podcast here, I've co-hosted YouTube shows, and still hundreds of submissions from some amazing talents are pouring in. I can only thank you for that!

I'm here doing something I love and I can't wait to see where this project will take me.

Also, I'm currently available for bookings for gigs and events and hire for writing. Just thought I'd throw that out there for safe measure!
